A Review Board composed of international experts in the field will score all valid applications according to the candidates curricula (titles, positions, publications, grants, patents) and the scientific quality of the abstract (study design, methodology, discussion, significance, innovation).
The best scoring applications to each Award will be selected as finalists.
The list of finalists will be published on the website by August 30st and the candidates will be contacted via email.
Both oral and poster presentations Finalists will be evaluated by the Award Jury, focusing in particular on the quality of talks and presentation skills.
The five ISSNAF Awards will be presented during a formal ceremony at the Italian Embassy in Washington, DC on October 17-18.
