Mechanism for TRF2-mediated chromosome-end protection

cover natureResearchers at the Scripps Research Institute addressed the molecular properties of TRF2 that are both necessary and sufficient to protect chromosome ends in mouse embryonic fibroblasts. Their data support a two-step mechanism for TRF2-mediated end protection. Two Italian researchers, Cristina Bartocci and Eros Lazzerini Denchi, are study's authors.
