ARPICO is a not-for-profit volunteer based society operating in Western Canada, advocating public awareness of research activities that involve Italians or that may be of interest to the Italian community. The society offers an informal forum for discussion, debate and exchange of ideas related to topics relevant to modern society by facilitating networking and providing a point of reference and support for researchers, professionals, and governmental entities. Our members are scientists and professionals in natural and social sciences, medicine, engineering, arts, and humanities.

La CSIC è la prima associazione canadese di ricercatori italiani creata con lo scopo di essere un punto di riferimento per chi attualmente risiede in Quebec e un collegamento con la realtà italiana. Fin dai primi incontri nel 2005, l’associazione conta una partecipazione di quasi duecento ricercatori. CSIC promuove lo sviluppo di programmi di scambio e collaborazioni tra studenti, ricercatori e professionisti che operano in Quebec e in Italia. A questo scopo, sono organizzate varie attività ed iniziative (conferenze, seminari, tavole rotonde) di natura interdisciplinare, che spaziano dalle scienze umane, scienze sociali e naturali a quelle informatiche, e dalla medicina all’ingegneria.

BAIA is a non-profit, volunteer-based, independent association founded in San Francisco in 2006. BAIA offers its community opportunities to network, facilitates the open exchange of knowledge, business opportunities, relationships between Italy and the US and promotes a business ecosystem that fosters innovation.
