ISSNAF builds its success and achievements on the commitment of its affiliates.

The Board of Trustees, all local Chapters leadership roles and Scientific Advisory Boards are all volunteer positions.

Most ISSNAF activities are run with the support of volunteers.

ISSNAF operational costs, capped at 20% of expenses, are exclusively supported through donations and grants.

ISSNAF is a not-for-profit organization with a public charity status under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code; the foundation can receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under section 2055, 2106 or 2522 of the Code.

Italian private and corporate contributors may equalize ISSNAF to Italian Onlus for tax deduction purposes.
