EU Commission Launches 51 FP7 Calls for Proposals PDF Print E-mail

The European Commission's Directorate-General for Research has published on July 20  fifty-one calls for proposals under the 'Cooperation,' 'Capacities,' 'People,' and 'Ideas' Programmes of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).

Student grants, curricula, programs and interventions are designed with focus on local needs but may provide a blueprint for similar interventions at the national level.

PitchingItalianValley is a virtual valley -- a web platform developed by Wired magazine, sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Public Administration and Innovation as an effort to relaunch Italy as a country of creativity and innovation. The website has been conceived for the Italian participation in Expo Shanghai 2010, on the theme "Better City, Better Life": 265 projects among the many received a year ago have been selected for Shanghai.    

After Shanghai, the site will continue to be a showcase and a database of Italian technological creativity.
