Mentors serving in this program are all ISSNAF affiliates in the academic ranks either of "full professors" or "associate professor". Mentees must be ISSNAF affiliates under 40 years of age. Young ISSNAF for MoH
The Evaluation Committee for the Call for Young Researchers 2010 completed its works on May 4, 2012. The program provides a fund of Eur30.6M for research projects in the clinical care and biomedical fields presented by under 40 investigators. The projects are evaluated according to the method of peer review. ISSNAF supported the Ministry during the review process.The Minister of Health, Professor Renato Balduzzi, met with the Committee on May 3rd.

Young ISSNAF gave an important contribution to the overall effort of the Foundation to improve the governance of research in Italy.
