Anna participated at the ISSNAF Awards for Young Investigators by applying to the Anna Maria Molteni Prize for Mathematics and Physics in 2017. As an early career scientist, being a finalist signified a great achievement to her, and to participate in the ceremony was an unforgettable experience. There she could meet new colleagues and find friends who were colleagues years ago in Europe and who, like her, moved to the United States to develop their research. After working at UCLA, Anna then moved to Austin, where she is currently Assistant Professor of Physics since 2019 at The University of Texas at Austin.
