From the ISSNAF Mentoring Program I expected to interact with a talented mentor who could help me better understand the dynamics of North America in the field of engineering through his/her experience.

How did this experience impact you?

This experience, under the guidance of Dr. Carlino, opened my worldview and made me seriously consider a period of mobility in North America during my PhD. Having the opportunity to talk to Italians who have changed their lives in North America is really interesting and stimulating!
