ISSNAF offers three registration categories—Member, Affiliate, and Student—each with distinct benefits and specific eligibility requirements

MEMBERS 

Members meet specific eligibility criteria and enjoy full access to ISSNAF’s programs and opportunities. 
As a Member, you will:

​​

• Extend your personal network to Italian colleagues who share your heritage

• Benefit from ISSNAF’s full range of professional resources and opportunities

• Participate in your Chapter programs and events with priority access

• Have a meaningful way to give back to your country of origin through mentorship and community engagement

​

Eligibility requirements for Members:

1. Be first generation Italian

2. Hold a university degree

3. Conduct, or have conducted, research and development in any field

4. Have, or have had, at least one year of affiliation to a public or private institution in North America

​

AFFILIATES

Affiliates are valued participants who do not meet all membership criteria but are welcome to engage with the ISSNAF community.
As an Affiliate, you will:

​

• Connect with Italian professionals and scholars in your area

• Participate in Chapters' events and programs 

• Access to ISSNAF's professional resources and opportunities (access to certain roles and programs may be limited)

​

Eligibility requirements for Affiliates: 

1. Hold an university degree

2. Be (or have been) a professional in any field.

STUDENTS

Graduate and undergraduate students can benefit from ISSNAF programs designed to support their academic and professional growth.

As a Student you could benefit of: 

​

• Mentoring Programs: Personalized guidance offered by experienced ISSNAF members

• Mobility Programs: Opportunities for study and research visits at university and research institutions in North America, available to students from Italian partner universities. Visiting students are welcome to participate in activities by ISSNAF Local Chapter.

Eligibility requirements for Students: 

1. Be an Italian citizen 

2. Be a graduate or undergraduate student
