In a study published in the Molecular Cell Journal researchers showed that Glomulin (Glmn), a protein found mutated in the vascular disorder glomuvenous malformation (GVM), binds directly to the RING domain of Rbx1 and inhibits its E3 ubiquitin ligase. An italian researcher, Sabina Signoretti, working at the Harvard Medical School, took part to the research. To learn more
