BAC has a series of local activities in support of the Young ISSNAF program. From organizing lunches with senior members of the chapter to give junior members an informal setting to meet successful colleagues, to Happy Hour events that facilitate networking, we support our junior members in this important phase of their early careers.

 

• Aperinetwork

This series provides an informal setting for BAC members to meet in a fun, relaxing evening of exchanges and networking. This is an opportunity for our YI members to meet and mingle among themselves and with more senior colleagues.

 

• Meet the Expert Series

This series of lunch meetings is an opportunity for Young ISSNAF members to informally meet an expert and get insights about their successful career and experience, as well as advice on career planning.

 

BAC has partnered with the Leonardo da Vinci society of San Francisco for the Leonardo awards for early career researchers.

 

Many BAC members are serving as Mentors for the ISSNAF Mentoring Programs.
